GOOD TO KNOW

This visit requires to climb 345 steps. Access to the rooftop visit is submitted to meteorological conditions: thunderstone, gale warning, frost, the visit will be done to the chiming (without access to the roof), then the group will go down and our guide will end the visit by a discovery of the interior of the basilica (no refund possible). Visit not recommended to person with fear of heights.

• For children under 5 Years :  It is necessary to reserve for children under 5 years, even babies (rate for 0 to 5 years old, free). We have a limited number of 18 persons for the group due to security matters.
• Free toilets on the esplanade.
• Stroller storage available upon request at the Welcome Pavilion.
• Possibility to purchase your tickets on-site at the Welcome Pavilion (glass building on the esplanade), subject to availability.

IF YOU HAVE A CITY CARD

Reservation will only be done by the tourist office (not possible to buy tickets in Fourvière’s box office nor online). While arriving we need to scan your Citycards in the box office (the glass building on the esplanade). Should there be not validated there, or invalid, you will have to pay full price in order to do the visit. Subject to availability.

TRANSPORT

Please be mindful of transportation time (possible wait at the funicular), the visit will start at the indicated time (it is impossible to join the group after departure).
